Red Florida East Coast Pine.
I have approximately 1,000 lf of random lengths 1x4 Red Florida East Coast Pine (also referred to as Sea Pine) was clear cut and extinct by the early 1900’s. I salvaged this wood from my home built in 1886. This wood is extremely hard, long grained, & virtually free of knots, and is excellent for veneer, I have ripped in 1/16-inch strips for end caps (a little hard on the tools) it has not been kiln dried and still has residue of sap after nearly 130 years If you are interested I can send you a sample
